Brian Akin
Master Control Operator/Traffic Coordinator

Being a local native of Fresno, Brian was born and raised on the Northern side of the city for the first twenty years of his life. After gaining all the knowledge that he could from the city, in the year 2000 he traveled North to Portland, Oregon to spend a couple of years someplace that was new and exciting. This is where he met his wife-to-be, Sarah, and her daughter, Caitlinn. Soon after in 2003 they decided to move once again; this time towards Texas to be closer with Sarah’s family. After half a decade working and living in Dallas, Brian was coerced by his close friends and family to move back home to familiar territory in Fresno. Sarah agreed to the move and the Central Valley is where they have both lived since 2007. Brian was married to Sarah on November 3rd, 2007 and had his first-born son, Joshua, on December 10th, 2008.

Brian began his broadcasting career at Cocola Broadcasting, LLC in May of 2008 as a Master Control Operator, and has taken on many more responsibilities since then. He still happily works at the company as Traffic Coordinator, and plans to continue working at Cocola for many more years to come.
